NAIDOC Community Breakfast

Centacare Kimberley is thrilled to host a NAIDOC Breakfast, creating an inclusive and heartfelt celebration that specifically pays tribute to the often overlooked elderly patrons of mainstream services. By integrating the event within the Homeless community, Centacare Kimberley aims to extend the festivities to marginalized Country Men and Women who are already familiar with their services. The event will feature a diverse range of engaging activities, including bush foods, art, music, and more. The primary objectives are to highlight the theme “For our Elders,” acknowledge the elderly Homeless Breakfast patrons, showcase the program’s peacefulness to other organizations, and promote NAIDOC celebrations for all attendees. It will be an enriching and enjoyable experience for everyone, with a particular emphasis on providing Homeless Breakfast patrons a safe and relaxed environment where they can relish a hearty meal, enjoy the music, and actively participate in various activities.
