Goolarri Television (GTV) is Broome’s one and only local television broadcaster and we operate a 24 hour a day “rolling transmission” service.

 

Along with broadcasting we are also an award winning Production Company of high quality entertainment, documentary and advertising content, delivering messages with style and personality to showcase our unique regional identity.

 

GTV plays an integral role in the community because we endeavour to reflect cultural values with respect and integrity.

Channels

Goolarri broadcasts three television services and one radio service to the township of Broome.

Channel 40

GTV is our main digital TV service, broadcasting for over 15 years. It has an eclectic mix of locally produced programs and films, latest music videos, short films, international news, classic movies and progams in language unique to the region.

Channel 41

Nurlu is the retransmission of the satellite service Indigenous Community TV, sharing Indigenous culture from across Australia to the people of Broome.

Channel 42

GTV HD is our high definition encore service of our main channel.

Channel 43

Radio Goolarri 99.7fm is also now available though your TV!

Ramu is our film production wing of Goolarri Media specialising in short films and documentaries for national broadcast and international festivals.
